For the vast majority of electrical work (panel upgrades, new circuits, renovations), a municipal permit is required. As licensed master electricians, we handle all permit applications and inspections on your behalf.

Duration varies by project. An electrical panel replacement typically takes one day. A complete residential installation for a new home may span several days. We provide you with a precise schedule at the quoting stage.

Several signs indicate a replacement is needed: frequently tripping breakers, panels by Zinsco or Federal Pacific (known to be defective), insufficient capacity (60A for a large home), scorch marks or a burning smell near the panel. When in doubt, contact us for an assessment.

The amperage determines the total electrical capacity available to your property. A 100A service suits small units without heavy appliances. 200A is the current standard for most homes — it supports air conditioners, EV chargers and electric ranges. 320A is an intermediate option ideal for large homes or properties with high demand that don't yet require full commercial service. 400A is reserved for very large homes or commercial buildings with the highest energy demands.
